Destiny Etiko, Nigerians Amidst fashion Saga

The all curvy, beautiful and one of the leading Nollywood Actresses is being dragged on social media following her visit to the Governor of Kogi State,Gov. Yahaya Bello wearing a Python skinned outfit.

The Actress got into limelight following the release of the movie ” Idemili” an African Igbo inspired story. She also featured in lot of best selling movies playing lead roles alongside Yul Edochie, Patience Okafor, Pete Edochie, Ken Erics Ugo, Toosweet Nnam among numerous others. It’s been rumored that her Mum although late, was an actress who had quit the industry to focus more on her home. Etiko herself along side Regina Daniels, Somadina Adikwe, Williams Uchemba featured as Child Actors while growing up.

However, it’s seems the growing controversies between her and her Nigerian fans seems to be on the increase. Earlier this year, she was dragged for acquiring a Prado SUV Car. Accusations flew from here to there, Who bought her the car ,Who did not, Who gave her the money , Who did not, and things like that. She had even come out swearing , cursing at rumor mongers and revealing she worked hard for it.

But No! It didn’t stop there . You see, now she is being dragged for wearing a Tight Python Skinned outfit for a Visit to a Governor,Gov. Yahaya Bello to be precise.

Questions like why she went dressed that way to see a Governor, Who invited her was randomly asked on various social media platforms with ofcourse more critism and savagery.

Nollywood Actress, Uche Elendu took up to her social handles to defend her, asking fellow Nigerians to leave the actress alone. She also stated that were dressed casually heading to the airport before the governor called to see them. “I wonder how dressing is becoming a National issue” she added. But then, it didn’t really go down with Nigerians as more people were asking if there was an Airport in Kogi State.

Honestly, my opinion tho , it might not have passed for a befitting outfit for such visits maybe that was why it came a surprise. But then, we’ve all come to accept that fashion comes up in different ways. Styles, colors that are unique to certain people and not so unique to the other. Elaborately, what might pass up as fashionable for one individual might be less fashionable for another. Besides, we do agree that what really matters is the comfort , confidence and the right attractions displayed by what we really decide to wear, don’t we?
