Early this week we talked about the benefits of wearing footwear. We would take a look at the types of ladies’ footwear.
Varieties of women’s shoes
- Sky-high boots
- Knee-high boots
- Wellington boots
- Timberland boots
- Bondage boots
- Kitten heels
- Flip flops
- Ballet flats
Flip flop is typically worn as a form of casual footwear. It is softer and exposes much part of the leg. It is also called slip-on and slippers.
Sandals are an open type of footwear, consisting of a sole held to the wearer’s foot by straps going over the instep and around the ankle. Sandals can also have a heel. People may choose to wear sandals for several reasons but sandals tend to require less material than shoes and are usually easier to construct and is a great choice.
This flats are used by ballet dancers , quiet simple and easy to wear and suitable for formal settings.
A stiletto heel, or just stiletto, is a shoe with a long, thin, high heel. It is named after the stiletto dagger. This is one must have for ladies.
Boots are footwear that covers not only the feet but also the ankles and sometimes even the lower leg e.g Hip boot, knee-high boots, thigh-length boots, wedge boots, chap boots etc. Boots are made from leather, rubber, suede, plastic and several other materials
Women’s wedges are more comfortable and stable than high heels because of even weight distribution. Instead of putting all of your weight on one point (the heel), your foot is distributed from heel to toe. This means you can walk longer, without risk of fall.
