Fashion gist and gossip : Fashion Review: Blood Sisters.

Netflix Movie blood sisters  created by Temidayo Makanjuola. Blood Sisters tells the tale of blood, power, wealth fashion, opportunistic parents, Friends that stick till the end, love, disloyalty, drugs, dirty family secrets and sibling rivalry.

Best friends Sarah played by Ini Dima-Okojie and Kemi Played by Nancy Isime go from bride and bridesmaid to killers when Kemi kills Sarah’s intended abusive husband, Kola Ademola played by Deyemi Okanlawon, on their wedding day. To friends and family, the groom, who has been buried in a shallow grave withdrew from his wedding the last minutes. The body is  found and the friends have to go on the run, leaving evidence and clues pointing to them, as Udauk played by Kate Henshaw , her trusted bodyguard played by Ramsey Nouah, and the police are looking out to apprehend them. A lot of movie stars were seen in the movie.

 The beautiful cinematography, the wonderful acting, the believable characters, the suspense, the cultural display and drama. They actually put in a lot of effort into making this. It was good and more like what a Nollywood movie should look like. The casts  everyone handled their roles with grace and style. This was a beautiful production and I love how it ended. If we continue this way we would have a movie that actually competes internationally. I’m proud of Nollywood at this point.

Well I would  love to outline some beautiful fashion moments in the movie.

Ramsey Nouah as Uncle B I only say him in suits but it fitted his role perfectly he acted as Uduak’s bodyguard.

10. Daniel Etim Effiong (Akin) kolas best man and a friend to kemi. He was cool and neutral but was determined to find out the truth. He was so supportive at the wedding.

9 Gabriel Afolayan (Femi Ademola) brother to the groom and first son of the family. He has a beautiful wife and a son. Desprately wants to be the head of the family but despised by his mother.

8 Deyemi Okanlawon as Kola Ademola he was the abuser but had quite a taste for fashion. Husband to be of Sarah in the movie.

7 .Uche Jombo (Uchenna) Mother of the bride. She represented a real Igbo lady either her style and Grace. She was the opportunistic parent.

6. Abasiama (Toke Makinwa) I really loved her style and personality at the wedding. She appeared to be still in love with Kunle or will I say she just felt pity for Sarah. But want thing we must acknowledge is that she is a fashion goddess.

5  Amazing Actress, Genevova Kenechukwu Umeh who played the character “Timeyin Ademola”, the youngest sibling and only daughter of the Ademolas  struggling with drug addiction.

4.Kehinde Bankole (Olayinka): Wife to Femi Ademola, a strong supporter of the husband and a very smart lady.

3.Kate Henshaw-Nuttal ( Uduak Ademola) Mother to the ademolas. Sophisticated, smart but grumpy. She loved her youngest son more and was  villain- like throughout the movie.

2.Nancy Isime (Kemi Sanya): Sister and Best friend to Sarah, gorgeous and stylish. She pulled the trigger and killed Kola when he was abusing the sister.

 1 Ini Dima Okojie (Sarah) quite a beautiful lady and fashionable as well. She played the role of an abused fiancée. And was one of the lead cast in the movie.
